The measured minimum tyre starting pressure of the left hand side rear tyre of car number 44 was 0.3 PSI below the specified minimum tyre starting pressure and the measured minimum tyre starting pressure of car number 06 was 1.1 PSI below the specified minimum tyre starting pressure.

The tyre pressures were checked with the calibrated tyre pressure gauge of the official Formula One tyre supplier on all four cars.

how much will the pressure rise with hot tyres?

i mean, they're talking values around 1.2 atm, i use pressure around 1.7 - 1.8 when i go mountainbiking on very rough trails, and you can feel the tyre is almost "flat", do they really run on such low pressures?

Using the Ricciardo example, if this is a clear case of cheating then were Mercedes advised or warned by the stewards through the race? What notification was received by Pirelli? What tolerance is there built in to the 19.5 PSI minimum and were Mercedes outside it?

I'm kind of surprised they use an old fashioned manual tyre pressure gauge, I'd have thought they would use the telemetry to monitor the pressures in real time.
