Cryptic word dancing.

http://www1.skysports.com/f1/news/12479 ... 15-line-up

Quote:
MB: If we look back at your template and how you’ve been successful it has always been with the top most experienced drivers – Prost and Senna, Prost and Lauda, Hamilton and Button. So that suggests if you go back to how you have been so successful that it will be Alonso and Button.
RD: “That is your suggestion not mine. But you presume that let's say there are three people involved in this choice, but I think you should stretch your imagination to four.”

MB: So you might snatch someone else completely fresh to the team?
RD: “Why don’t you just listen to the words and when we have something to say we will say it. But it won’t be until December 1st.

MB: So it might be Stoffel Vandoorne then – your young driver?
RD: “Might is an interesting word. But we are here to do the best job we can in Abu Dhabi, I don’t like stressing anyone out and I certainly don’t like stressing our drivers out. But my job and it isn’t my job alone, is that we return to not just winning, but we are going to try and dominate. We are here to try and put together the best possible team to get us back to winning as fast as possible.”

Alonso and Vandoorne would be my choice, actually.

Button was never a true top driver and, albeit very solid and experienced, he's not a long term perpestive.
Magnussen didn't impress me. He was hyped a lot when was announced to replace Perez. He was said to be mega quick but this weekened, for istance, Button had very little running on Friday and still easily outqualified K-Mag by 0,3s. That Mclaren should've been in Q3 and he failed and I'll not be sorry if Kevin's F1 career would be over.

Stoffel has the same amount of wins of Palmer is the runner up in his first GP2 season. The guy deserves a chance, imo

I hope not, a year at McLaren didn't help Perez and Magnussen (if he goes) in their career.

I can only hope that Button and Magnussen already are informed long ago, otherwise I wouldn't want to be in their situation.

Lol no you didn't

What you said a when back was that Stoffel hadn't been impressive this season.

From Button's FB page. A clear indication of leaving McLaren?

So replacing TK at Audi or filling one of the seats in the third Porsche?

Still think it's a massive Dick move from Ron to seemingly get rid of Jenson but also not allow him to say

"this is my last race, goodbye everyone"

Who says it is Ron's doing or Ron's decision? What if it were a third party that were causing these issues... *ahem* Alonso

Alonso knows talent, that's why he wants Stoffel because after he retires he will take over Mclaren.

Talking about the third Porsche (or the Nissan cars for that matter, I guess), this was posted by Hindhaugh J. in the RLM Facebook group:
"Expect Hulkenberg to be released from FIF1 to do the race. Sutil offered to bring money to drive for at least 1 OEM and he's not the only F1 refugee to be 'flashing the (sponsor) cash'"

F1-related which is why I post it here. Hulkenberg has been rumoured for a while now, but more open spots means more opportunities.

Alonso's preference for his team-mate was (or perhaps still is) Button.

Stoffel is going to DAMS to become GP2 champ, so I'd guess another year for Button and in 2016 Stoffel takes his place

This probably makes the most sense. Alonso has said a few times publicly that he wants Jenson as his team mate, and he is probably still too stung by 2007 to accept another young upstart in the other car.

Despite a good season & 22 pts, I'll not drive anymore for Toro Rosso in 2015. Thanks for those years. Let's go for another big challenge.

Hopefully JEV will end up somewhere where he can be appreciated for his efforts. So Porsche or Audi or Nissan WEC then.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.
