The car control was amazing but I'm irritated by what caused it. I can't discern a reason. He wasn't full on the throttle, didn't alter the steering input, didn't decelerate harshly...

Was it on the warm up lap?

He may have done it deliberately for tyre temp...

I think it was during the first lap when he made up a huge number of positions.

Yes it was behind the safety car before the restart.

I just watched the clip of his first lap, he was sliding quite wildly there too but not to that extent :mrgreen:

Judging by how he had just changed gear, I think it could have been cold tyres + good old-fashioned turbo.
