Why he's thrown to the back? That's fucking ridiculous. He set normal times in Q1 and Q2. Of he's only excluded from Q3 I can understand, but this is just bullshit. FUCKING FIARARRI.

And Mclaren for fucking up, he needs to leave the fucking team.

Well, the team have cheated.

How stupid can you be to cheat like this. Hamilton was far in front in Q1 and Q2 at the moment he set his time. There was absolutely no reason for the team to give him so less fuel.

The penalty is fair.
But what about Kobayashi who stopped after Q2. That also looked like a fuel issue.

Apparently Koba was a hydraulic issue.

According Whitmarsh there was a technical issue. :p

I imagine they had a range of penalties available, and I bet this was the harshest they could choose.

Same "FIARRARI" who had thrown Schumacher to back of the field at Monaco 2006 due to an illegal move in Q3? ;)

As much as it pains me to say it, Lewis needs to find himself a decent team.

I don't agree with throwing him at the back of the grid, but that was a pretty amateurish mistake. And it's not the first time this season. They "boasted" about how Jenson was running on a severe fuel saving mode from lap 8 at Australia and still won it as if it was something to be proud of.

Lewis is terribly unlucky though.

The regulation that was broken.

Quote:
Competitors must ensure that a one litre sample of fuel may be taken from the car at any time during the Event.

Except in cases of force majeure (accepted as such by the stewards of the meeting), if a sample of fuel is required after a practice session the car concerned must have first been driven back to the pits under its own power.

According to the stewards' release, Sam Michael attempted to claim force majeure on the grounds of the individual failing to put enough fuel in (which is a bullshit excuse). The stewards rejected this and it may be this attempted defense which has warranted the penalty.

It's a shame for Lewis that the other options are Mercedes and Ferrari [well probably not with Alonso there]. Not a chance RBR entertain the thought of hiring him. He should have a huge WDC lead instead he's going to drop even further behind Vettel and probably behind Button/Alonso tomorrow. The last six races:-

Brazil: Car failed on him
Australia: Lose 2nd place in Pits to Vettel
Malaysia: Poor Stop and needless change of setup when Mclarens had dominated previous wet weather running
China: Gearbox failure and poor stop.
Bahrain: Two dreadful Stops
Spain: Underfueled the car.

As soon as Lewis stops driving like an idiot, Mclaren decide to become a bunch of idiots themselves.

That's too easy. The main reason was he stopped just before the Safety Car came on track.

Becoming? For a team of their stature, they make some really stupid decisions some times and have been doing it all the while I have followed the sport (ok, thats only 4 and a bit years).

McLaren have been idiots since that balaclava became team principal, it's just that Lewis' issues last year masked it somewhat.

For the sake of McLaren, Whitmarsh has to go. He knew full well that the problem was fuel, he knew as soon as Lewis left the pit that he couldn't make it back to parc ferme, and yet he comes out with this ridiculous statement about it being a 'technical problem'. He then sends Sam Michael (possibly the dumbest acquisition in sport this side of Shevchenko to Chelsea) to argue that a human error was actually force majeure. What did he think the stewards were going to do when they heard that?

So, with Hamilton disqualification, Jenson Button is now the driver with the best qualifying average of this season. His average: 4,80. Never seen before so low average..
