They are all in the same boat. And its same reg. for all. They didnt make the best of it like Merc..

Agreed. The point was made in an Autosport (I think) article last week... the people who are moaning about the rules (Ferrari, Red Bull, etc...) are the ones that haven't done a good enough job compared to their competitors. Yet neither were moaning last year or previous years when they were winning / dominant.

Unfortunately that's the way with F1 now. Dominating your rivals is good but when they dominate you, whine like a bitch and demand their hard work be hobbled.

The hearing into Ricciardo's exclusion in Australia has taken place today.

Fabrice Lom, from the FIA, also claimed that only for five laps and while the safety car was out did Ricciardo adhere to the fuel flow rate limit.

This is the way F1 has been for as long as I can remember. It isn't new for 2014.

I don't get why they(not Haas necessarily, but journos too)keep mentioned their wind tunnel if it's useless, though

I never believed Ferrari was the greatest asset of F1, like some people like to claim(and Ferrari themselves) and that they are mega important and etc. But Bernie makes them believe so by giving a ridiculous big share of the income to them regardless of WCC.

With that constant praise and hype, it's not entirely surprising these people feel like their primadonna wishes are a demand to everybody

Don't think Autosport of the 50's was full of teams moaning that the other teams were faster then them and they should be hobbled.

If the IOC doesn't want to recognise a sport where its athletes are pushed to such extremes of tolerance that they collapse after the event then he literally has nothing to say on a non-sport he doesn't have any business talking about.

I agree with the decision to replace Domenicali. But I don't agree with the timing. Its rather questionable to replace Domenicali, who's been with the team since 1995, three races into the season with individual with no experience in motorsport. At least wait until the end of the season when you have his replacement signed.

I know Red Bull probably don't have a hope in hell of winning, but it would be nice to see the FIA called to trial for enforcing rules based on poorly developed sensors. That has to be doing the sport more damage than 1 team daring to call them on it.

I think the preferential treatment is one of the biggest reasons people dislike Ferrari in F1.

And if you're around my age you remember them as a struggling team in the early 90's who became great once Schumacher and his men joined them.
Not that I'm going to ignore their past but from my point of view, McLaren and Williams are just as important to F1.

Completely agree with that. Whilst what RBR did was wrong, the fact remains that the FIA are enforcing rules with faulty technology. That's just not good enough.

Surprise surprise. The FIA is not going to come out and say "Yes, we agree with Red Bull that the FIA is a bunch of bumbling idiots". When was the last time that a team has successfully appealed a DSQ for a technical breach? Off the top of my head I can only think of.......Ferrari in 1999. The "infamous" bargeboard debacle which just happened to take place in a World Championship battle. I still can't fathom how they got away with that one.

Oh yes, completely agree, Red Bull should have abided by the rules, and they were never going to win the appeal based on "but they are opinions rather than regulations" argument. But once again the FIA leave themselves open to scorn and ridicule. Case in point, the Pirelli testing debacle last year.
