Jordan has a weird syndrome where you know the point he is trying to make but somewhere between his brain and his mouth the words disconnect somehow and what comes out ends up not making as much sense as he intends when he starts saying them.

Sometimes I wonder if he just gets distracted from his own train of thought by the voice of the director in his earpiece...I dunno.

I was thinking during the long Qualifying delay when you had Murray join Ben Edwards in the box of how much the BBC has tried to capture the spirit of Murray in their broadcast team.
You have Ben Edwards for the exciting, enthusiastic and passionate commentary.
Jake for the entertaining interviews and pieces to camera Murray had to do back in the day because he was the only one at the track!

And then you have Eddie Jordan to provide the embarrassing Gaffes and cock-ups!

Her face is ok, but the rest is quite sizeable and nasty. I've never been a fan. Awful presenter, awful interviewer, just awful.

ahha so you're a skin and bones man are you?
Gotta have a little bit on them otherwise they'd break.

Yeah but there is sizeable, and then there's Lee McKenzie. That's just my opinion of her though and I know she clearly appeals to some. But continuously calling her attractive seems a bit of a stretch though.

Fair point, but the way some people talk about her it's as if she's a Victoria Secrets model.

I can tolerate Jordan - he comes out with some complete shit, but there are also some very good insights also. Can't think of any other former team owners who would be as interesting.

Really? I've got off with people just for their Scottish accent - admittedly the Edinburgh accent, I've not got a clue what Glaswegians are saying - maybe that's just my thing...

I've always felt that Lee McKenzie is the most underutilized & Underrated member of the BBC F1 team. When they use her she's great but they always put her in the paddock & then you barely hear anything from her most the time.

I thought she did a brilliant job covering for Jake at Suzuka a few years back & I thought she was great when she handled the early part of the BBC forum last weekend.

Think she's going to be lead presenter of the BBC coverage for the next few races (Not that there live for Hockenheim/Hungary) as Jake's going to be presenting BBC's coverage of the olympics.

Yeah.. There's no such thing as a Scottish language, or even accent. There's a stereotypical one, but east coast and west coast are completely different. When I was in the States I got quite a bit of attention from women who heard my accent. It was strange.

As for Lee, she's an alright presenter I guess. Better than Louise Goodman anyway. BBC has very little going for it now unfortunately. And I can't stand EJ - he's a tool with the attention span of 5 minutes and always seems to go to the crowd and asking stupid shit. I prefer the more technical and in depth presenting, which EJ doesn't provide.

Sky Sports are having a Freeview weekend next weekend so those with Sky (And I think Virgin Media) will be able to watch Sky Sports F1 without a subscription.

Yes, that's what I thought too. Her first time round presenting was very tough for her as quali rained out and she had to keep us entertained for the best part of 2,5 hours. I think she did a marvellous job then.

Looking forward to see her presenting again for the BBC.

(oh, and btw, of all English journalists, she seems to have the key to open up Schumacher).

If I could have killed Jonathan Leggard during FP2 via my remote control I would have.

Does anyone have Virgin Media? Somehow this weekend, I got the Sky F1 channel.

Is it part of the cable TV package or what?

It's a free weekend for Sky Sports.

There's nothing on any BBC channel for the next 2 and half weeks, but Olympics. Even BBC Parliament has been taken over, so it's bad luck for insomniacs trying to get to sleep.
