Yes

'FIA has accepted the candidature of Haas Formula LLC and are in the process of conducting further investigations for Forza Rossa'

No.

I double-checked and when they ran black sidepods, they still had Sahara on the rear wing.

Maybe just a new sidepod just flown in from the factory?

http://www.racecar-engineering.com/news ... 14-f1-car/ I guess Haas could use the Adess car designed for 2014 regs. Colin Kolles is probably not going to get the car because of his past history with Adess. But no one knows if it really exists. 9 months to design the car and build the parts must be a pain in the backside.

Given the quality they delivered on the LMP2 car I wouldn't have much faith in an effort like that. But I guess given the time it is the best option?

Although these guys were also responsible for pimping the old Dallara for Hispania racing.

Now officially confirmed, with Marco Mattiacci as his replacement.

Well, Haas don't have any technical staff, only a windtunnel. But a windtunnel can't design cars by itself.

Regarding Domenicali, it was probably the best time for him to step down. Bahrain was one of the worst races in recent years where both cars finished. Hard to say if the new guy is any better; he doesn't have any experience in running racing teams.

I knew it would be only a matter of days when I saw Montezemolo leaving the garage before the half way point of Bahrain GP. More heads might roll soon.

Unlikely they recover in time for the remainder of the season so I'd expect them to switch to 2015 really soon then.

That's been Ferrari's approach for many years now.

But anyhow, this departure from Ferrari is a few years late. As was Massa's. As is Alonso's.

I wouldn't expect so. I don't think Bianchi has the appropriate experience to replace Domenicalli.

Looks like Mattiacci doesn't really have any motorsport background but he's just a businessman. I fear dark age for Ferrari, maybe worse than 1991-1993.

I'm not a big Ferrari fan anymore but biggest disappointment for me if such a future does indeed transpire, is losing out the last few quality years left in Alonso & Raikkonen robbing us fans of some good battles up front.
