The way he landed was pretty similar to Diniz in 99. Looks like they aren't strong enough in all directions.

Well it has to disappate the energy like any other crash structure on the car, no doubt it would've been a hell of a lot worse without it but yeah, it shouldn't be doing that

Halo alone doesn't provide the clearance, roll hoop is still the primary roll protection for the driver. Still the Halo does the job thankfully!!

If the whole runoff was gravel he would not have cleared that Tyre barrier. The asphalt did nothing to slow him down, the gravel did unfortunately it was not big enough

Can't believe Halo saved two drivers in just one day.
