Ronspeak-to-English translation; 'Most of the sponsors we had in 2007 have now fucked off and we can't really afford to pay him $20 million to fight for world titles.'

'Although we will pay his team-mate half that to finish outside the points every weekend.'

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Apparently Bruno Senna won the Trofeo Lorenzo Bandini 2012.
Normally given to drivers who made a promising start to their career.....

Other winners, Schumacher, Hamilton, Wurz and Alonso.....

I think they ran out of people this year (for 2011).

Alonso, Webber, Kubica, Vettel, Hamilton, Rosberg have all won it already.

It is justified. His family didn't allow him to do motorsports until the age of 23,24?
Now he is in Formula 1 and he is able to score points, this is great! Although it would maybe be up to Perez or Maldonado...

Perez has been the most promising (and deserving) this year, of the less established drivers in my opinion.

The Lorenzo Bandini Trophy (Trofeo Lorenzo Bandini in Italian) is a prize awarded in memory of Italian racecar driver Lorenzo Bandini.

It was established in 1992 by Bandini's hometown of Brisighella, to be awarded to an outstanding figure from the world of motor racing

Bruno Senna an outstanding figure in the world of motor racing :?

Must be great to cruise through life on the back of your last name.

And the awards are for the previous year. So he won "outstanding figure from the world of motor racing" having competed in 8 of the 20 races and only scoring once with a best finish of 9th.

Sutil, Petrov, or Kobayashi would have been much better picks.

That also has a lot to do with motorsports.

Seriously what Kobayashi performed the last 2 years, or Perez this year qualifies so much more for that price than what Senna has achieved.

Not saying he is a bad driver, but I wouldn't qualify him as a outstanding figure from the world of motor racing.

Was watching Canadian Post race with interview with Sam Michael and well didn't know that McLaren are still using Windows XP with live timing in the background. I would have thought they would have their own operating system.

During the 2012 wintertesting in Barcelona I was watching the pitstand of both RedBull and Torro Rosso for a while. RedBull is using MS Win7 and all the information displayed are seperate streams played with VLC Mediaplayer. Meanwhile Torro Rosso is still using WindowsXP with the same VLC construction tough. Around the straight area is also a closed SSID around called "livetiming".

I believe a few years ago there was a funny screen posted in the NASCAR thread where an application froze while using XP (you know, the screen "send/don't send".

If anyone could dig that one up again. LOL.

You have to buy licenses if you want to use VLC commercially. You might get sued if you don't buy licenses. Tough VLC devs won't sue you, MPEG LA et al could, depends on the codecs being used...
