Kubayashi for sure. Made all those guys that entered F1 in the mid-season look total begginers. And a lot of F1 drivers pussies. He's got the balls (or Japan craziness) with skills to do it right.

That's the great thing about japanese drivers. They seem to be born without common sense. Which is awesome.

I guess Kimi got a puncture on the first lap, didn't he?

Kobayashi is classified 9th. He didn't score any points, did he? :?

Oh my bad, of course he didn't.

I really don't understand the voting.

Mark Webber was dominant and had pace in reserve.
Robert Kubica got a BMW on merit onto the podium in the dry and did so from 8th on the grid. Harrying Webber as long as he could and beating a Brawn on merit.
Sebastien Buemi scored Toro Rosso's first point in the dry and never once lost his head.
Raikkonen after nearly getting KO'ed by Webber. Drove around with fuel in his eye and recovered for 6th.
Let alone the recoveries of Hamilton, Vettel and Button.

Kamui Kobayashi's debut was entertaining and spirited but it certainly wasn't the drive of the day. That honour I'll give to Kubica just ahead of Webber.

Most of us are not expert F1 analysts and we don't have the insight to appreciate a good, solid drive by a pilot if it's a lonely drive. We don't care because it's BORING to see someone accumulate qualifying laps all the race, even if it does require talent.

We want FIGHTING, and that's what the Man of the Race award is for IMO. It doesn't go to the "best" driver, but rather to the one who shined with his agressivity, determination, ballsiness and craziness over the race and gave us good times.

He clipped Sutil before then, I'm pretty sure he had a puncture to go with the broken wing.

Apparently during Lee Mckenzie's interview with Lewis, People were throwing nuts & food at him 8O

This from her twitter page:

Don't really want to dwell on these idiots but some fans through some nuts, and food and stuff whilst I interviewed Lewis.

Thats just needless and mean, i dont get that kinda thing :(
what a shame they behave like that sometimes, i didnt notice it happen tho will have to take another look later

I'm not his biggest fan to say the least but I agree.
Its just ridiculous. Bernie should do something about the racism issue.

They weren't throwing shit at him because he's half black or whatever he is. They were throwing shit at him because he, from their perspective, ruined Barrichello's race. Pretty simple...

I wouldn't blame Rubens for that since Lewis was the car behind him but I wouldn't completely blame Lewis either. Racing incident.

They were racing, Rubens was defensive while Hamilton was attacking. Which is exactly what racing drivers should be doing.

Unfortunately the endplate just clipped Rubens tyre.

Well, he still had the 25 second penalty for something outside of his control.

Where are the penalties for Webber and Kobayashi? That stunt on Nakajima was worth a race ban and Kimi was lucky not to go flying off either on lap one.

Saying that Webber doesn't deserve the points because his move on Kimi was unfair and then voting for Kobayashi?
I went for Kubica. Great drive and much fairer than Webber.

First half of the race was awesome. Last half was abit dull. I'll give it a 7. Definitely a decent race in a season of forgettable races. Just lacked a fight for the win and any action towards the end (barring Rubens and Hamilton).

Yeah, but it's FIA. Their logic is to be illogical when giving penalties for the same crimes. They don't use the common law system...

Pfft, I remember MS doing exactly the same thing to Montoya in 03 and nothing came of it. The FIA set a precedent back then that it was ok.

I think it was 02, but that's beside the point. Monty got the first drive through in F1 for a first corner incident at Malaysia, despite doing nothing wrong, then the FIA failed to penalise Michael at the Brazil GP for that chop. I'm with NVirkkula in that the FIA's logic is illogical.

FIA = Ferrari International Assistance

Schumacher understeered into Montoya at Malaysia and Brazil he moved twice, but the stewards were never going to penalise Ferrari.

Yeah, i remember the MS and JPM incident. I wasn't happy at the time about that either :p It just seems such a cheap easy way to defend your position and ruin your opponents car (and risk a big accident).

IIRC Kovalainen didn't get any votes when he won in Hungary. Massa and Glock took biggest percentages then.
