Well that was fucking brilliant.

Was lucky enough to be able to watch all that from Brawn's media centre. Unbelievable atmosphere, and when Jenson crossed the line more than a few tears were shed. A complete world away from when I was sitting in a pub with the same people 12 months ago amidst fears they would all lose their job.

Not checked the thread, but Jenson's drive today really was champion material. Huge roar every time he zipped it inside anyone, lots of jumping and cheering when he crossed the line. Brilliant stuff. We than all invaded Brackley and got lashed.

Congratulations to Jenson, but moreso congratualtions to the boys in Brackley. Was a shit winter for them at the start of the year, but every one of them is now a world champion. Fully deserved.

I need to stop missing good races.

And knowing that Button wins the WDC (yay) instantly makes the Abu Dhabi race unwatchable.

Kinda sad that a journalist/reporter doesn't know the difference between "through" and "threw."

10. FOM and RDS were perfect. And I got a BBC stream right before the interview with Trulli, so was quite satisfied to hear his version with such an angry voice tone

I wouldn'nt say that i am looking forward to a new track even though it might be shit.
Very good race today even though we had a safety car it was exciting,
Kamui Kobayashi sure made an impression even if the world champion called him insane.

Sorry guys but have to say it again!

2009 WORLD CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!

Well done Jenson. Have followed his career since 1998 and knew him a little during his karting days in UK so this means a lot to me.
Been with him through the tough times every step of the way and never thought he wouldn't do it if given the car. Yeah he's not the best out there but shut people, if one guys deserves to show what he can do in a winning car, Jenson does.
And boy did he show what I always knew was there!
Commiserationss to Rubens who I love to bits but I also want to say to all Button detractors -
He is a deserving world champion as he has accumulated more points than anyone else and how many races have Rubens and Vettel and Webber won?

WORLD CHAMPION BABY YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My vote goes to Kobayashi. He's the only one and as a rookie that stepped in F1 in a new car this year and immediately be on pace. He should be on the grid for more races.

The FOM director is quite apt at picking the battle and react quickly to them, thus in an action packed race like the first half, they were OK.

Thoroughly enjoyable, I could easily watch that race again about a million times by the time I'm a very old man.

It would be great to hear from the person himself, why he gave this race 0 points? :o

There are always people who give joke votes. Valencia may have 10s, drivers with biggest cock-ups votes for DOTR and so on.

I gave 8.

FOM was pretty much perfect except for that random tree shot in the race and the Sutil/Alonso Crash. I loved how they covered the start with the low camera just after the line. 9/10

sky was once again just average. FP3 was the ultimate low when they started showing old practice session instead of stuff going on at the track during the rain delay. This is something you expect from FreeTV, for sky it should be clear to stay live at the track no matter what's going on. People pay (way too much) money for the mediocre coverage. Qualifying then was covered very well, staying live at the track all the time (see, that's how it's done). Pre- and postrace were useless and awful. The so called F1 moderator Peter Lauterbach asking important questions like "Tanja, what are you wearing today" and an even more useless and mostly drunk expert called Keke Rosberg who's talking like his set of teeth is about to fall out. Those two get worse and worse from race to race. Something HAS to be done for 2010.
Commentators superb as usual, picture quality crap as usual. 5/10

Hopefully now that the titles are both wrapped we have a good old fashioned dead rubber dog fight at abu dhabi. Noones got anything to lose really.

I just tried to imagine Nakajima and Kobayashi fighting in Monza, then my brain went kablammo.
