Coldtyre wrote: It's just another gimmick of an insane, tech-obsessed society: engineering is not at the service of human needs, it's the opposite, ideas are being pushed onto the public/customers to create new needs you never knew you had. It's ridiculous, but it is also self-destructive, so I don't worry too much about it. It's human nature to always be pushing the boundaries and trying to do something better (and make the shareholders more money....). But I agree in that it'll inevitably end up being our downfall. |

figured this rumor was gonna start flying when the NASCAR street race in NYC rumors started up, considering this has been F1's golden goose project since the 1980s [tweet]https://twitter.com/A_S12/status/1584207498172850176[/tweet] |

Have an American based breakaway series then, and leave the rest of F1 alone. |

One good economic crisis and we're worse off than when BMW, Toyota and Honda left. I still feel Renault is 1 board meeting away from pulling out. Mercedes already offloaded the majority shares in the team. Audi and Porsche havent shown long term commitment yet. Even with budget cap, how long are they willing to invest if they keep finishing 3rd, 4th or 5th or even lower? We need the likes of Andretti. Not big car manufacturers that want driving billboards until it stops suiting them. |

Couldn't care less. I want 26 cars on the grid. Nothing else matters or satisfies me. |

Mercedes (the manufacturer, not the team) is on a sweet spot, given everyone associates the successful organization with the team although the brand doesn't actually own the whole team so is a good marketing to their kardashian jeeps funny that Michael Andretti didn't went to Dorilton to seek some ownership in Williams trying to force his way through a very well estabilished organization at least his dad drove one of the cars from Grove ![]() |
