0 - DQ for the SC start. Not rating anything after that.

Thanks for running all the polls this weekend JJ  I haven't watched the race yet so I can't vote.

EDIT: Looking at the results, I don't think I'll watch it too xD

I quite liked it, the SC start was the biggest let-down followed by no fighting for the lead but overall there were some nice battles: 7

Not a classic, but not a snooze-fest. Safety car start was stupid though.

Btw, here are the ratings to date. Still quite good average (6.23).

EDIT: Believe it or not, Baku looks to be the lowest rated GP in recent TBK history. Brazil last year was 2.30.

Thanks for this graph JJ.

To defend Baku and to talk down Silverstone, there was 68 overtakes on track while there was only 10 in Silverstone, the lowest amount of the season. Even Monaco had 15! This season still has the all time highest average so far...maybe se need better directing and replays?

10 hard fought, quality passes is better than 68 DRS assisted passes on F1's Mulsanne Straight

Yeah. I don't understand these days why anyone would be hyped about the large number of passes, when 98% of them are boring. Of course, Jean Todt will say the statistics prove that the DRS is great and he is a genius and godlike.
10 DRS passes <<<< 1 non-DRS pass.

If this had been a dry race we'd have rated it a bit higher, it's just our standards for wet racing are so much more expectant than dry ones that we lull ourselves into a false sense of "OMG WET=10/10 race and amazing tast passing/crashing every lap" that anything other than Brazil 2003/Canada 2011 level of crazyness is a let down.

I don't think anyone expects much of a wet F1 race anymore. But it's hard to ignore the difference between F1 and most other major racing series that can manage a race in the wet.
