No pole for Hamilton. Race might be interesting.

Good for the championship, but Lewis will at least be an easy 2nd. I just hope Rosberg just drives like in Bahrain.

It will be interesting to see how Lewis and the team will react if this trend continues for whatever reasons.

Hamilton will probably go round the outside and be leading before the end of the first lap

Never read comments on internet articles. It's tempting, but I always regret instantly.

+1. It's worst on YouTube, but continues down all the way through the Daily Fash to our local rag.

Why?

And I thought he has only been approved for Friday, so far. Which would be very strange by the way but it's something I've read today.

It's that other World Champion that shouldn't be there.

I don't think Lewis will be able to get that 2nd place so easily. Of course the overtakes at Shanghai are very easy, but he will lose a lot of time in the first laps, especially if he keeps struggling in the start and that will give Ferrari a precious advantage, but I do think it will be very unlikelly to see a podium without the two Mercedes. I think Hamilton will finish it 2nd and one of the Ferraris will "stole" the 2nd place. But to be honest, I'm much more focused on the other teams battles, than in the Mercedes/Ferrari clash. It's much more balanced this year between the other ones. Tyre strategy at Shanghai will be even more important than Melbourne and Sakhir! Can't wait for it!

Why?

Because I'm a Belgian and prefer Vandoorne. Obviously.

Shanghai is not a good track for McLaren, Vandoorne wouldn't have the same good performence

unless, of course, it rains

I know. And he has raced and won many times in Bahrain, but I don't know about China.
