that's very slippery when wet

and of course it's gonna rain on race day, but I don't know if it's gonna happen during the race

Looks hella narrow on the exit of turn 2 now, can you even fit 2 cars through there without running off track?

Good luck at the start, guys...

Yeah, I'm amazed if they can squeeze there without some wing damages. Also, if someone runs wide, he better be not that stupid to jump over that grass and spin in front of everyone.
For once they've done something to increase excitement. +1

If Lewis wins in Interlagos and Rosberg doesn't finish, Lewis leads the championship by 49 points. If Rosberg wins in Abu Dhabi and Lewis retires (which he has done a few times while leading the race in the past) Rosberg takes the title by a single point. But I very much doubt that's gonna happen :D

Brazil should be fun, it rarely disappoints with 2003, 2008 and 2012 as absolutely memorable races :)

On the other hand, Lewis can afford to finish second behind Nico in every race now.

Orrrrr he has the confidence to send an overtake up the inside knowing Nico won't turn in, as if they both retire that's also advantage Hamilton.

ORRR it'll rain and Danny will win :p

Funny you should mention this, I was wondering something similar after Toto Wolff's comments saying how the double-points race could mar the season and championship. Maybe I'm reading between the lines too much... Hmmm....

Mercedes intentionally let's Hamilton have over 25 points lead, then in the last race his technical issues causes him to retire and Rosberg takes the title for the Germans and no one want's to ever hear about double points ever again, they way it should always have been.

Why wouldn't I be too surprised to see them drop the double points ahead of the final race if Hamilton potentially could lose the title over it if the gap is <50.
I'm sure there are a few people fearing the shitstorm coming their way if Rosberg does win it that way.

Wouldn't a rule change in a middle of season require an unanimous approval from all the teams? I don't think all teams would want to lose their golden opportunity to jump up in rankings.

Bernie will promise them some of his gold and they'll agree.

Also Felipe Giaffone is one of the regular stewards so no worries about having driver representation

Mostly dry on friday
Heavy thunderstorms on saturday => possible delays
Overnight rain and maybe some light rain in the AM on Sunday. Afternoon should be dry (thunderstorms unlikely if it rains)

Most models concur the weather front will be northeast of Sao Paulo which means very little amounts of rain still there on Sunday.

But things can change over the next days :flag:

You guys may be thinking now I was somewhat lying on the Weather thread when I was saying São Paulo was having its biggest drought in 100 years, specially looking at the weather forecast and the rainy/cloudy pictures....but, BELIEVE ME, less than one week ago we were praying for rain.

Out of a sudden rain and humidity have both showed up this week, right on the F1 week....this looks promising and even surprising. Anyway this humidity and rain this week are far from solving the water crisis in our state. Five years will be needed for our reservoirs return to normal second studies.

So, praying for rain is not only entertainment for Brazilian Grand Prix, it's something we need, CHUVA, CHUVA please, come on!

10 years ago, Jaguar ran its last race. It then became Red Bull.

Mark Webber collided with his team-mate for three years in a row at Interlagos. 2004 with Klien, 2005 with Pizzonia and 2006 with Rosberg.

Btw, the probability of rain on Sunday has been decreasing.
