I bet we see 11 red flags throughout the weekend. But seriously Q1 will be just chaotic with 24 cars going around.
Though Monaco has produced many boring races as well, but for some reason that's quite unlikely this year.

Racing could be boring, but it stays Monaco that's something... Only bad thing is that most likely I'll be drunk by the time the race starts, big party in town this week... :) and a little :(

Although Monaco doesn't have much overtaking, I look forward because it's the track where you can easily crash and therefore be out of the race. Something which you can't say about some other tracks.

What do you reckon? I bet you the only day there's to be no rain is Sunday.

There used to be a reasonable amount of overtaking at Monaco up untill 1994.

Anyway, Kurbs have been tweaked at the chicane this year:
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/83535
Quote:
Formula 1's ruling body, the FIA, has decided to raise the elements behind the kerbs of two chicanes of the Monte Carlo circuit for this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.

The FIA said new, higher elements have been placed after the kerbs at the Nouvelle chicane (Turn 11), as well as the one after the Swimming Pool (Turn 16). The move is aimed at stopping drivers from cutting through them at high speed.

The governing body also said several parts of the circuit have been resurfaced. The pitlane surface is all new, as is the stretch from Ste Devote corner to the junction of Avenue de Monte Carlo.

Also re-surfaced are sections from Place du Casino to the Tunnel du Portier entry and from the tunnel exit to the chicane.

Strange, why would they do that? To prevent cutting the chicane? I think it only improves the chance to hit the barriers after jumping over the curbs.

I think one thing these new kurbs do is bring some some precision through the chicanes like we used to have untill the FIA started making them all lower & flatter.

Wonder if the kerbs will be like last years ones at Singapore (the ones at that odd triple kerb chicane thing)

As James Allen described them in 08 "giant overgrown TicTacs" :)
Doubt we will see them like that, I think they were reduced in Singapore pretty quickly, as cars were catching air probably.

I bet they'll end up causing at least one crash on Thursday practice and drivers will protest and they'll spend most of Friday's downtime sanding them down again.
