I think the most memoriable race of this decade was Brazil 2003 for me, also Japan 2005 was an alltime classic.

My personal top 10 of this decade of F1:

10 - US "Grand Prix" 2005, or how to make a GP in a entire farce. Good job to FIA and bernie to fuck themselves in North America.

9 - Japan 2005, a powerful Raïkkonen will blast an entire field.

8 - Canada 2007, a incredible race make me fear with Kubica incident.

7 - Belgium 2000, or the apogee of one of the greatest duel in F1, Hakkinen vs Schumacher. :D

6 - Europe 2005, or the biggest FAIL race ever for Raïkkonen.

5 - Austria 2002, or "lette passe maïkeul fort the championchipe". Fuck You, Jean Todt. :yuk:

4 - Belgium 2004, 7th title for Schumi, and Raïkkonen be the new king of Belgian Ardennes.

3 - Brazil 2007, or how Raïkkonen owns Alonso and Hamilton for just one point. :)

2 - Malaysia 2009, LOLest (and also shortest) race ever.

1 ex aequo - Brazil 2006, Good bye to a great champion, with one of his most beautiful race,
And Brazil 2008, when brazilian crowd celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first title of Senna but only 20 seconds of Massa's title! and see Hamilton takes his crowd. :flag:

Not quite. That accolade goes to Adelaide 1991. A whole 14 laps of chaos and carnage.

2003 and 2005 were probably my favorite seasons. Both years Kimi had a legimate shot at the title...only to be let down by McLaren and Mercedes' lack of reliability. 2003 was also enjoyable thanks to Williams improving. Sadly that was probably their last decent season since 1997. 2004 was pretty bad. 2006 was good but not the best. Schumacher's last race in Brazil was nice to watch.

2000 and 2001 were pretty good. Didn't watch 2002 but it seems like I didn't miss much. 2007 and 2008 were pretty boring. 2009 was pretty bad up until Silverstone.

2007,2008 boring??

Both seasons went down to a last round epic and were decided by a point. Those years also had some good races, Europe 07, Brazil 08 come to mind.

2003, 2007 and 2008 where all great years. Especially 2003 was a great season, the whole year trough.

2007 and 2008 were good for the championship, but had almost only boring races. Too often a race was dominated by 1 man, and the next race it was another who dominated.

Doesn't anyone remember Shanghai 2006, where Schumi won in changing conditions?

Oh, and Schumi cried at Monza in 2000.

Shanghai 06 was one of the best races ever

A great finish to the season doesn't make the season great. Just makes the last race great.

I agree - 2007 was a run of below average races that just happened to end up with 3 drivers separated by a point at the end of the season. I mean, even Brazil was pretty dull since Alonso was never going to get 2nd and Hamilton was miles off what he needed as well.

The year 2000 was the 2nd season I watched completely. That was a good season, 2001 was pretty good as well for a Schumi fan (as I am). 2002 was boring, 2003 was great. Together with 2008 the best of this decade.

Schumacher's finest win in my opinion - saved the best until last. He was on completely the wrong tyre (Bridgestone didn't have a wet anywhere near as appropriate as the Michelin runners) for the conditions at the start of the race, yet he still somehow kept himself in a position to then go on and decisively slice past the Renaults and win when conditions changed.

Shanghai 2006 ties with Hungary 1998, imo.

2003 had some crazy races full of excitement (Silverstone, Brazil, Melbourne) but also plenty of really boring ones. It just seemed to be different cars winning each week and making the championship close. Watching the season review the other day, it didn't appear to be nearly as good as i remembered :p

2008 was pretty good. The Schumacher domination years are best forgotten in terms of on track excitement. My favourite season since i've been watching would probably be in the 90's though. 1997 and 1999 spring to mind. So i wouldn't rate this decade quite so highly.
