I don't understand how we are back here after that missile crisis last year. Drivers wanted to leave before the race. Yet afterwards, no words have been spoken about the incident and everyone is just fine to return there. Very weird.

I like the track though, probably the best street track on the calendar. But tense, every lap I'm fearing an Hubert style t-bone crash around one of its blind corners

Not weird. Nobody cares about the War in Yemen and that's because Yemen supported Saddad Hussein during the Gulf War so USA & NATO will never forget that and let them burn in civil war some 30 years later. It's geo-politics plus Yemen has no chance to block the Red Sea pathway either.

Only like three weeks ago LET hosted a women's golf event in Saudi Arabia so everyone takes their money with a big smile ;)

Considering how much he paid her and everything she did for him, I’m surprised she didn’t jump ship sooner….

At least Saudi Arabia has shown consistently to condemn Russian invasion of Ukraine.

If there's a GP that should be boycotted, it's Azerbaijan. They have always been "absent" during the UN General Assembly vote.

Thank god China is off the calendar. Xi in once again meeting Putin next week. Who knows what those two are planning for the world. :slaphead:

makes sense since Saudi is an America satelite in Middle East and is happy to sell dinosaur juice to former Russian oil buyers. Meanwhile almost all the former soviet republics ending in -an (plus Belarus) act like soviet republics with a bit more independence (aka more tirany and corruption)

Nah, the absurd thing about this was the guy insisting that the woman freely doing her job that she is paid to do, and has done for years, has 'no self respect', and making offhand comments about slavery.

Seriously, she put out a statement about it and people still insisted on defending her from whatever suffering she was being subjected to :slaphead:

I've never been a big Hamilton fan, but this was classic rage-bait. The tone of the replies shows he reached his audience.

Yeah I wasn't understanding why a woman who has enjoyed her life in the paddock and is leaving of her own free will to set up her own business venture with the money she's earnt from her F1 life is being skewed by the perspective as if she was forced to be there and she didn't enjoy her employment with one of the world's greatest sportsmen in one of the world's biggest sports, or something

She's definitely using the profile she's gained from working with Lewis for something on her own now, and good on her

Just typical "Lewis is constantly the bad guy, everything he touches is evil" TBK things, I guess

when Lewis retires most people here will be in depression because they'll lose someone to pick on

I still dream to see him driving for Ferrari, but he might quit mid season because they'll be mutually offended by their differences

Through this I learned that her and Lewis both have the word "Loyalty" tattooed on their arms, which is definitely the sort of thing somebody agrees to when they are in a shit job.

I see nobody on TBK being negative towards Hamilton because of this news.
