There's nothing to say that he is, it's just conjecture based on the fact that Allinson left this week.

Halo would be ok if they put grass and gravel back on the tracks

Lol. No more track limits? So the track limits will be where the drivers won't be able to gain more time?

They should have tweaked the radio rules. Now we're back to an army of engineers telling a driver what to do. Yay for progress...

Straightline the chicanes, that'll end well.

There will be standing starts even in the rain. However they will run a few laps behind the Safety Car if necessary and then line up the grid.

about radio, what about take all that hybrid stuff away and return to sheer internal combustion power with less electronics and so with no radio guidance, just with pit boards. the drivers do all the stuff on the track and that's it

simplify then add lightness

The engineers should minimize the things to do for a driver. Micro management is silly...

What will they do if there is continuous heavy rain like Fuji 2007, that would permit racing, but is risky for standing start?
Whole race under SC waiting for rain to ease off? Of course, I wouldn't mind them to have normal start in Malaysia 2009 / Canada 2011 conditions.

The track has always been "the black stuff between the white lines." Track limits should be enforced on all corners and not just on ones they are deemed to gain an advantage.

So so so many own goals by the FIA here. It is now beyond laughable. What's the bet the FIA go against the Strategy group and force the Halo for next year rather than do the sensible thing and develop it more.

Also if they have a full year of development the Aero shield is the better option of the two and the Halo should be dropped immediately.

The FIA is an absolute joke. Local club racing has better officiating.

Is it Opposite Day or something? Everything in that tweet is deplorable.

Atm new rules are installed at the rate that by Sunday the winner is probably the driver who can make most doughnuts in 30 secs and set lap time ending x.666

So can I suggest that both Seb and Rosberg sit out racing until the Halo is implemented then? After all, F1 has suddenly overnight become a death trap and is super super dangerous.

The problem is (well at least for me) that these particular drivers sound as if the cars are death traps in its current state of safety. And this is clearly not the case.
