What has happened to the cheerful fingerman?

Alonso was born on 29 July 1981 and crashed on 22 February 2015. Subtracting the digits of those two together gets you (2+9+7+1+9+8+1)-(2+2+2+2+1+5) = 23.

This is 1 lap shy of Sebastian Vettel's current number of fastest laps (24).

Wake up people.

Jeez. You're all way off. Look at his name... Fernando Alonso. How do you not see it?

FER... As is Ferrari, which is the last F1 team he'll ever race for
NANDO... As is Nando's - Piri Piri Chicken - Chicken - He's scared of driving for McLaren

ALON... As is Alon USA, the energy refinery company that has no connection to McLaren or F1
SO... As is So? Who cares...?

Also, if you look carefully at the numbers of his birthday 29-07-1981 and you rearrange them you get 01127899, which are the co-ordinates for Multimedia Gassmann AG in Switzerland. The birthday of 29th July is also shared with actors Wil Wheaton and Alison Mack, both were also once famous but then almost disappeared off the face of the earth. All coincidences? I think not!

*GULP* This is all outrageously spooky.

Seem's like Sky UK/Germany/Italy will be using people from each others on-air team's at points this year:

The pit reporter from Sky Italy was also used during Sky UK's testing coverage a couple times for driver interviews & a piece with Ted.

They didn't really go into detail other than indicating that Tanja will be appearing on the channel again through the year.

Guess its all part of the resource sharing we will be seeing from the deal last year that saw BSkyB buying Sky Italy & a majority share in Sky Germany:
https://f1broadcasting.wordpress.com/20 ... ss-europe/

While on the F1 show she just talked a bit about her & Martin bumping into each other on the gridwalk & then her & Ted spoke a bit about Mercedes at the SkyPad.

Now using Federica Masolin from Sky Italy for a piece about Ferrari.

Tanja talking about Vettel - "Last year he was a little pissed off... Can I say that?"
Natalie - "Not really"
Simon - "Tanja wash your mouth out, Its like having Gerhard Berger here".

Found these when I was looking through some books recently...

I met them all at an F1 Fan Forum, which took place 1-2 weeks before Maria's accident.

Agreed, I don't know why Sky think the slowest song in the universe is suitable for the high energy, high speed sport that is F1
I want to be made to feel the intro is as dynamic, fast paced, high speed and exciting as the sport is itself, not have them try to make me feel emotional about 20 cars racing in a damn circle 19 times a year.

Oh wait, I do know why, because the BBC used it as an end of year montage in 2011 so obviously Sky felt it had to be copied.

The best sounding and loudest car is by far the C63 wagon medical car.

Yeah, I thought the song went really well in the BBC montage, but never understood why Sky use it as an intro.

I like the song, But agree it doesn't really work for the F1 intro.

BTW It's been confirmed that Sky won't have any of the extra feeds online via there website this year, Red Button & ipad only:
https://f1broadcasting.wordpress.com/20 ... e-control/

Shame for those like myself who don't have an ipad but like having the OnBoard-Mix or something up on a 2nd screen to go alongside the world-feed.

I wonder how much Apple paid for such exclusivity with Sky... :?

Just a bit bizarre Sky, who are always desperate for more viewers, out and out say "sorry Android users, you can't watch our shit..."

I think it's more to do with Android not being as secure as it could be.
Remember this is the company who deliberately hacked their rivals and leaked the encryption keys once a month, so when they're rivals went bust, they could scoop them up at pennies on the pound, allegedly.

I'm not bothered by the song. Doesn't do anything for me but I don't dislike it. But then again I tune in to watch the racing and I also don't pay for Sky.
