Just curious, would you hate it as much if it were, say, an American sponsor? I don't see Santander getting hate for sponring the British GP

I know that. The ideal race, the ideal race time is usually minding your own business until the latest pit stops. But it still still looks like a bunch of pensioners not trying to loose their teeth....

Amazingly clean weekend so far. No one has binned it, as even Alonso was able to continue after his light touch in the barrier during FP1.

Not what? Sorry for giving some perspective, in a track mostly littered with Rolex and Pirelli billboards and no Japanese sponsors to be found anyway.
Welcome to the 21st century where old glories are long past and replaced by others, is all I'm saying. Anything else is just misplaced nostalgia and slight national and ethnical prefere, that has no place anymore in today's corporate world, which F1 is deeply part of.

Pirelli and Rolex are actually motorsport-related though.

And yes, Santander, UBS, etc. are annoying as well. Don't be such a victim.

Friend, your post smelled a lot the usual "You hate Emirates because it's arabic? I'm so offended, that's racist!!"
The kind of usual bullshit you can see everywhere on the internet especially on 9gag.

I know you and your post since forever, I would have been hugely disappointed if you, bro, would have been "one of them", one of the SJW who can turn a F1 thread into another political flamewar.

You are better than that, so, sorry if I was wrong (I spend too much time on 9gag.).

Whatever buddy. I can't hate on a brand who's throwing money into F1 so I can watch one of the most beautiful tracks of the season.
