Nelson Piquet Jr had the same road, as his father provided a good operation until Flavio Briatore picked him for Renault. Too bad it was Flavio Briatore

I guess Monisha will be heading to Turin instead to sell all her shares to FCA

Could we please stop posting shit worded as a fact when it's just a personal thought? Getting fed up by it.

So FP1 drive for Esteban Ocon following on from Sirotkin. Are you salivating yet Kals, as the end for Palmer is looking increasingly likely?....Fact or fiction Micha...you decide :D

Its a fact they're in trouble and it's likely they won't make it to the end but come on, saying they won't make it past Monaco and making it sound like its a given fact while it's a mere personal thought.
Either back the claim up with a source or change the wording so it's clear it's an opinion.

And yes, I'm cranky as I'm in the hospital with my 4-week old son waiting for the pediatrician.

Sauber will be done after Monaco

Sounds mere like a personal thought cause he is not backing it up with a reason like "Cause Kaltenborn will commit suicide in the Swiss mountains." Also, from Swiss to Monaco might be the shortest trip of the season next to Monza :p .

Good luck in the hospital Micha, not a place to be on a sunday in this weather.

Where did it all go wrong for them?

Protip:
- Barça is the nickname of the FC Barcelona team. It does not apply to the city itself.
- Typical nicknames for the city of Barcelona are Barna or BCN.
- Barca without the tail under the c means "boat" in Spanish :p

Have I missed something, or have the rules for next year been set yet? Or was that only for the engines? I thought that a comprehensive set of regs (aero & engine) were to be agreed upon by the 30th of April. Have I just misinterpreted it or has F1 fucked up again and not agreed on what they were going to agree on?

Groupon has some discount ticket offers for Montreal, only for 3 day GA or 3 day Grandstand #31 however. Limited time as well (4 days left)

Boat in Spanish is 'barco' ... it's masculine, moreso than me and my letter writing. If you need me, I'll be in the poetry section.

Hamilton will only stay in F1 if he can win.

Article in Dutch
http://www.gva.be/cnt/dmf20160509_02279858/hamilton-ik-blijf-alleen-in-de-f1-indien-ik-kan-winnen

Of course he wants to win, everybody hopes to win. If you don't want to win anymore you have to stop doing sports. But if you say, if I can't win I quit, you sound a bit like an arrogant asshole to me.

Said it before, I'll say it again, he will be in NASCAR before the end of the decade.

What more does he have to prove in F1? Why should he (theoretically) have to drag a shitbox back to the front of the grid? He's already done it before (2009), what does doing it again prove?

He's clearly pretty fed up with F1 in general and he's never been happy with corporate responsibilities (having to shill Mercedes sponsor products instead of the stuff he likes).

I also think he's similar to Montoya in that he's fallen in love with the American lifestyle and wants to be there full-time.

I'm not saying any of the above is a good attitude or a bad attitude but it is his attitude and I think it will lead him away from F1 sooner rather than later.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Wouldn't Indycar be a better option? I think he lives in Colorado doesn't he?

From a driving standpoint it's a better fit, but I don't think it has enough attention for Lewis' liking. He likes being a star, and there's far more of that sort of circus in NASCAR. He loved being JAFF's guest at Homestead last year.

I could see him doing the 500 as a standalone thing.

Oh man, I know NASCAR has moved forward from the glory days, but I could see Hamilton causing quite a stir in the NASCAR paddock. I'd probably watch more NASCAR, though.

How much is his contract, though?
