So let me get this straight. The track has curbstones and they´re a bit on the sharp side. Although this also was a problem in 2021, Pirelli didn´t bring a tyre that can manage that. Drivers can not be trusted not to go too crazy on the curbs, although these curbs are not ON the track but next to it. Avoiding them by staying on track appears to be no option. So now FIA has imposed a maximum stint, turning the race into a circus, because drivers can´t keep the car on the track. How come drivers can keep the car on the track on circuits like Monaco or Singapore, but not in Austria or Qatar? |
