Going to be another standing start. Let's rack them up and do it again!

Latifi caused it. He was the one with the largest speed differential, first on the scene, first to take evasive action and go out of line. He brought the others into it with him.

Edit: it's not that clear cut, he just was at the worst position in the accordion shit list.

standing start and Grosjean is still in it? More pile ups to come?

or will the race get under investigation?

This is gonna be a long race. Although they will run out of cars at some point. Wouldn't mind Panis Monaco-esque race.

F1 needs real tracks. Now confirmed. Street tracks and tilkedromes are the cancer.

and change these cars. put them on wind tunnels and any sign of dirt air means they'll be disqualified

At least have real street tracks and not purpose built permanent tracks pretending to be street courses.

Yep. It's been so refreshing to see drivers actually being penalised for their mistakes this weekend. Tarmac run offs basically encourage poor driving because there are no consequences for making errors.

I mean, this sort of start worked very well at Interlagos last year, TWICE.

I think Lewis judged it best in his radio comm afterwards. The SC lights out was late in the lap, so not everyone was ready with gaps in the field and leading to people having to catch up.

If everyone is following closely, you don't get this (as in Brazil 2019)

This track has beautiful scenery, elevation change, gravel, it's interesting and tight. But they are not used to it.

that's why Imola and Portimão will be also better than the regular tilkedromes
