Klien held the record previously for his 22nd place in Brazil, who took the record from Trulli who finished 21st in Valencia the same year. The engine regs need changing. Badly. Why? The point of the Cossie is to be cheap, and reliable. What good is it if the only teams that use it(the poorer ones) have to replace it every week because it blows itself to bits? |

Yes, but if the engine regs were changed so that we went back to "as many as you like, gentlemen", we'd see way more failures which gives the poorer teams a chance of points once in a while. |

I don't mind the reliability rules, I just hate the fake green attempts they are going to be making. If they want to green then limit the fuel per race and open up the engine rules completely, like Prototype C used to do. |

Of course. If people are struggling to find something to hate about Vettel that they have to resort to petty things such as "he raises his finger" and "doesn't show real emotion", then I think it'd be fun to have that avatar. ![]() |

Can anybody explain to me why Massa did not get a penalty. He crossed the pitlane exit when he came out of pitroad during one of his stops. I remember that a lot of drivers got a penalty when this happened some years back in France. |

Apparently you could cross it there is what I've and even if he couldn't it would be a particularly anal application of the rule IMHO. |

I remember that a lot of drivers got a penalty when this happened some years back in France. The line is there to stop cars blending into the racing line dangerously. The line Massa crossed was still in the pit lane, not on the track. It was discussed in the drivers meeting (apparently), and it was said to be ok. But Badoer was penalised for crossing a line that was still in the pit lane, so I don't get it. |

I think it was Kubica who did the same thing at Abu Dhabi last year, and also was not penalised. |

The Cosworths would be first in line to fail, so it's really only Lotus that would have any more of a chance, and considering whose drivetrain they have, they'd probably bow out early, too. |
