iks wrote: Jean Todt is a racissssss https://www.grandprix.com/news/fia-boss ... atter.html His predecessor had fantasies of being spanked by women in SS costumes and his parents had strong ties with nazism. This is FIA. No news here. But all complaints from Hamilton here seem to prove the point of some critics that most of the actions we see now are mere PR stunts. |

I'll have a lot more respect for Lewis if he does this in Sochi. His constant criticism and veiled implications of other's who don't do exactly what he wants them to do ( they are all according to him ignorant) is what pisses me off the most about his stance. |

revamping the 1999 Nurburgring race where once a car went to the lead it would immediately retire good old times, the cars today are ugly and don't break down |

Hopefully not the crash structure of the Sauber, that should stay in 1999. |

You know what, that would be the game changer for me too. Especially if Putin shows up and he decides to do something against his views. And of course, F1 press could ask him more political and global problems related questions now. "Lewis, what do you think about Tibet or Hong Kong situation?" "What actions are you willing to take to stand against the Bahrain government attacking their own people?" "Since you earn twice as much than any other driver, have you ever considered to start your own charity foundation to help black kids to get involved in motorsports?" "What about sweatshops in poor countries?" etc. What? He already has an opinion on animal cruelty, veganism, BLM and global warming. Why stop when he clearly is on a move and has time since driving around that Mercedes comes so easy, especially this season. |

The problem here is that when someone does something, people start to put an expectation that this one is accountable for everything else. So, since he did 1, he must do 100, instead of he did 1, I must do one too. It's much easier to be on the couch saying what others must do instead of doing our own homework. |

Raising awareness is next to nothing. Like Thoughts and Prayers. Lewis clearly wants to be influential person...which could mean he wants to do things...or he wants to be an Instagram model. I'd rather see him not to be the later. |

only those who do more and know better have a right to criticize lewis. even if all lewis did was use his platform to create awareness for a single issue, he would still be doing more to make this world a better place than 90% of the members in this forum |
