Even as a certified Vettel-sceptic, I think that's harsh

I think a change of environment would do him good. I'm not saying it's the best option for Red Bull from a competitive perspective - I think that's still tbc. However, he probably is the best option overall. It just depends on if you're going to get a rejuvenated Vettel, more of a 1990 Nelson Piquet situation rather than a disinterested Haas era Alan Jones

Apparently he's said Racing Point are "flirting" with him too (but they can't get rid of Stroll, so poor Sergio I guess)

If I was him and that's an option, it'd be a much more attractive solution. He could do some serious damage in that car

I'd quarantine him and Bottas tbf

There are people in the paddock that can't see people they're dating because they're in seperate bubbles, why do the drivers want special treatment?

Ocon can drive the Merc and Fernando can get straight in the Renault. Problem solved there.

Jesus Christ catching up with rumours today, apparently somewhere BMW put out a tweet saying they were interested in F1 and now everyone has their hopes up that they'll be entering a new 2 car team spearheaded by Vettel and Mick Schumacher when in reality they probably meant they'll be interested in replacing Mercedes as the official Safety Car provider when that contract goes out to tender or something.... :whistling:

Well, with Daddy Stroll around they don't need the bag of money Sergio brings from Carlos Slim. But I'm sure it will be welcome elsewhere.

I'd be very disappointed if there is no penalty at all.

I'm sure it will be cool to see them there but I also expect a barcelonaesque style of racing.

More so that Daddy Stroll brought in investors that invested in the team, not on his son. And Slim is too powerful, so Sergio is going nowhere unless Lance starts to outperform him consistently (lol).

Horner just categorically said "no" on air during FP1 about them contracting Vettel next year.

Maybe that's to protect Albon and not put pressure on his shoulders.

Or it's F1 and he's lying

Well, Gasly's seat was 100% safe too until Albon got the promotion

I'm alive for sure, but by no means a guardian of truth.

AMuS are reporting that after Sochi, there will be another European triple-header in October of Hockenheim, Imola and Portimao. China is probably off, which would in turn mean Hanoi's likely off too. Bahrain is suddenly a bit more questionable too as there has been a rise in the number of covid cases there
