This is a hard one.

Vettel did exactly what he needed to when he needed to and never looked back. Great drive.

Kubica again picked up solid points in a car that really shouldn't be getting them.

Lewis gave it a proper go for 75% of the race before being ultimately frustrated by Sutil, who himself pushed the car above where it should be.

Alonso managed his gearbox issue very well until the final two laps. Hopefully for his sake the lost engine doesn't cost him in the long term.

Alguersuari was very nippy all afternoon and deserves his two points.

di Grassi managed his fuel and performance to be the best of the new runners.

Chandhok had the measure of Senna and was actively fighting the faster cars ahead of him. Great drive too.

Giving it to Vettel.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Vettel. Closely followed by Alonso, who drove his heart out and eventually ended up with nothing.

I gave it a 6.

I thought it was a fairly Good race, True not much happened towards the front but there was some nice fights & some good overtaking a bit further back.

Webber has been shit at negotiating turn 1 lap 1 all the way back to Formula Ford days. It sucks.

I don't know if you guys seen the onboard, but BBC just showed it after the race. Webber left *loads* of room, and Vettel came from miles back. He invited him to have the win!

Yeah it was quite obviously a brutal blunder.

The fact they matched eachother all race long meant if Webber had not left the gap I think it would have been a simple role reversal. But whatevs.

At least he kept his cool today, not that he had much of a chance to lose it.

Decent Race. Of course the pessimists will say it was dull but it wasn't that bad, action throughout the grid except right at the front.

Overtaking is still a problem. RBR setting the ominous tone for the season if their reliability remains intact.

A query though. Is the Ferrari that much more reliable than the Red Bull?

The Ferrari team has:

- team has changed the engines pre Bahrain race
- issues during the Bahrain race.
- parts of engine changed pre-Australia
- gearbox issue for Fernando today
- engine blowout for Fernando due to gearbox issue.
- factor in two BMW Sauber Engine failures

Sure the Red Bull has had the exhaust and brake issues but the Ferrari has been almost as bad :S

Really glad to see Jaime Alguersuari get his first points in F1. He's really stepped it up this year and put some class moves out there today!

Robert Kubica again  Still Renault having one driver performing the other being nowhere.

Williams dissapointing. Blegh.

Rosberg already belongs to about 5 different nationalities, what's the harm of another?

Getting the Cosworth engines was their biggest mistake.

Yeah, but the cheapest too. :p

Another borefest. Thank goodness for the mixed up grid to provide some action. But lets face it.. the fast cars at the back made any passing pretty artificial.

You get what you pay for.

------------------------

As I understand it, this is Alonso's engine situation;

1st engine - swapped out before Bahrain GP, used in free practices only
2nd engine - used in Bahrain GP, still available for use
3rd engine - put in before Australian GP, still available for use
4th engine - put in this weekend, blew up in race, scrapped

Or did Alonso use his 2nd or 3rd engine for this race?

First time since 1990 as there has been three different teams winning first three races.

Since then there have been few occasions with three drivers, but there have always been team-mates winning one each
1999 - Ferrari
2003 - McLaren
2007 - Ferrari
2008 - Ferrari

Definitely better than Bahrain which I gave a 6 (overrated it, I know). But despite the race being a dry one, we saw some decent overtaking and a quite a few retirements.
But since...
-it didn't rain -1
-we saw no SC or additional drama -1
-there were rather long dull periods -1
...the total grade shall be 7.

6.

decent race with some great battles. Too bad we didn't have the rain, but anyway it wasn't that bad. Great results, seems a really exciting championship this year with a lot of drivers who can fight for the championship
