Raikkonen was good today, but he wasn't as good as he used to be (in the 2005 period)

I like how everyone just automatically assumes Raikkonen doesn't try hard all the time just because he seems like he doesn't give a shit. Through all of his interviews and press conferences I just get the impression that he's a genuine guy and actually does try his absolute hardest at every single race. He just doesn't strike me as a guy who would mail it in and then randomly try hard again. He's just a simple, no bullshit guy and I guess that's why everyone thinks he's lazy or can't be bothered or whatever. Explain to me why he lost all that weight in the offseason to help fit the KERS then? Why would anyone train so hard all the time just to mail it in when the race comes? That doesn't make any sense.

Now he goes out and wins a race with the 3rd or 4th best car on the grid and he still sucks. He had 3 podiums at 3 of the most physically grueling races prior to this win and yet, he's shit and doesn't try hard.

He sucks because Fisi in the terrrrrrible Force India finished 2nd, which obviously proves that Fisi is a very good driver and Kimi a lazy fucker who won because the Kers in his car qualified him 5th and then single handedly overtook the cars in from of him and kept a strong pace for the next 40ish laps. You heard it 1st on TBK!

just got back, holy shit what an awesome day. Why was it awesome? Because I had the most awesome spot you can have. At the top of Eau Rouge, right next to the FOM Cameraman 8) . Watching the F1 cars roar down the old start finish line and then up through Eau Rouge, screaming engines, almost blowing your head off, was one of the best expieriences I ever made.

anyone got post race footage from the shopper on top of Eau Rouge where everyone stormed the track? I'd like to see me in that one :p

anyway, a small preview of what's to come tomorrow 8)

Gotta love Spa!

7 from me. Last 3rd of the race was a bit so-so. But overall a very nice race!

A pity Fisico didn't win in the end, but a great result anyway!

edit: I also found TV coverage very good.

I voted for Vettel in the end.
Great pace in the second part of the race. He moved from 8th at the start to 3rd.
Fisico was of course great. Kimi made a mistake in the 1st lap and there is some controversy behind his move in the first corner. And good to see to BMW's back in business ;)

Seven. There was some (though not a huge amount) of on track action and the battle for the lead was interesting and not decided until late on.

Fisichella. His best races in years and of the best he's ever driven.

Two comments on this video
-Kimi's race could have ended after 5 seconds. Great reflexes to avoid Rubens :o
-Button also went wide off at the corner, but obviously nobody gives a shit.

Extremely bad at the beginning, but was improving significantly towards the end

Pretty much what I thought, when they showed the gap and graphical track positions of 2 totally irrelevant drivers Kimi and Webber I was like what on earth were they thinking. But those parts afterwards was OK.

Its ok, no need to apologize. This place wouldn't be as much fun as it is, without fanboys.
