Wishful thinking that red flag is just to remove the cars and this is a kneejerk reaction to Bianchi’s crash

Why the FIA didn't force them to start on wet tyres ?

They didn't give a penalty for a car going slow in 130R, so mandating a full wet start is way out their depth

Looks like Sainz got lucky no one ran wide after his crash. Looks like he was partly on the track

Is it me or since signing for Alpine, has Gasly suddenly become quite aggressive towards Alpha Tauri?

Why can't we have rule, that if it's declared wet race they HAVE to start with full rain tyre. Sainz crash was scary, if he had bounced middle of track we would have Spa / Hubert all over again.

Apparently, if it was a SC start, that IS the rule, but on a standing start they can do what they want.

....makes, sense? :whistling:

They are not that stupid enough to wait for better conditions? Because it won't get better than this.
On full wets this is entirely raceable. FP1 conditions.

Here is a thought: someone suicidal decides to run the slicks in these conditions. Do we stop the whole show for them?

If you don't want to die, use the correct tyre for the conditions. How hard is that FFS

Yeah that was scary. Had my heart in my mouth seeing the cars whiz by at high speed. Not sure why it, yet again, took them so long to neutralize the race under safety car. :slaphead: :slaphead:

Yea, you're not alone. He was whining on Friday something about the "other car" getting preferential treatment over him.

all I can say is that they ran this start just to give plenty of replays during red flags

either that or a cameraman tripping while trying to film Rihanna

Vettel: "OMG Alonso hit me off, that was terrible!"

Alonso: "did I just feel something or.....not?"
