F1 fan forum was pretty cringe.

Lewis was pretty much the only driver who showed anything like a personality, he seemed pretty relaxed, chilled out and dare I say it, actually funny.
He wanted to stop the entire interview to see what happened when the 2 V8 Supercars crashed at turn 3 which was pretty amusing

Neither Ferrari driver bothered to come to a fan event, obviously ;)

next thing Liberty will do is issue grid penalties for drivers that don't attend promotional events

The camera positions with the halo, my god what a farce.
I played devil's advocate on that one the entire winter, but damn that cam is horrible.

Also, previous seasons when a driver crossed the finish line and you'd see his position, it meant they improved on their best. Now they always show it, even when they're +4 secs off.
It confuses me

sorry rant over

Oh dear lord, I have just seen the onboard replay of what they gave Ricciardo a penalty for. The penalty is even more fucked up than I thought.

And in typical Melbourne weather it will be dry and probably sunny for qualifying. Rain has stopped and weather clearing.

Anyone else noticed sometimes it appears the number of the corner where the car is next to the F1 logo bottom left?

One slightly odd thing I noticed, on the Australian coverage the channel 10 guys aren't wearing any channel 10 logos. They're all wearing the same black shirt with no logos at all, not even f1. In previous years I think they ran the 10 logo at least.

Also, after watching the cars lap for a while I don't really notice the halo. Sure it looks shit in photos, but in motion I don't think it makes a massive difference visually.

lol safety car start even for Porsche Cup, with track more semi-dry than semi-wet.

They said it was something to do with the grid lights not working.
