I know its fairly irrelevant, but here's 2011 points using a proper points system
Drivers' Championship using the 10-6-4-3-2-1 (pre-2002) system:
01 - 141 pts - Sebastian Vettel
02 - 79 pts - Jenson Button
03 - 70 pts - Fernando Alonso
04 - 68 pts - Lewis Hamilton
05 - 62 pts - Mark Webber
06 - 15 pts - Felipe Massa
07 - 12 pts - Michael Schumacher
08 - 8 pts - Nico Rosberg
09 - 6 pts - Vitaly Petrov
10 - 4 pts - Nick Heidfeld
11 - 2 pts - Kamui Kobayashi
12 - 1 pt - Paul di Resta
13 - 1 pt - Adrian Sutil
141 wtf

Pedro De La Rosa has signed for HRT for 2012.

No, I'm not joking.

Probably because he's a very good development driver.

I should imagine a large part of it was the Spanish link, although his experience no doubt helped. However, if a driver with several bags of money arrives, I should imagine de La Rosa's role may be reduced.

Wonder where this leaves Karthikeyan and Liuzzi. Hopefully out of F1.

Liuzzi is certainly gone, thankfully.

Could Red Bull pay a season for Ricciardo?

I don't think so. What I've seen

Trulli & Buemi > ciao
Ricciardo > Caterham
Vergne > STR

Would leave an HRT seat open and I should imagine they'll take Liuzzi and maybe a pay driver to sub occasionally (like Narain in India)

A 40 year old who is past his peak, and was no better than average. Meh.

Yeah it was, it was about the development of the MP4-12C. I suspect it'll be uploaded somewhere.

But that person can develop the car and assist the team so that the funded young team mate can shine and get good exposure?

While we're talking about F1 comebacks (and this is PDLR's 6th F1 stint), can we bring Fisi back in place of Massa?

True, his development work is pretty good. But couldn't he do that in a test driver/Friday driver role? I wish him all the best but I don't see him achieving any kind of race results, or beating his team mate.

Yes yes yes. Make it happen! I'd be very 'appy.

I wouldn't be surprised if he lasted half a season before HRT replaced him with a funded driver, sort of what they did with Karthikeyan.
