Turkey? So you want to replace a circuit that's had 4 dire GPs with one that's had 7?
Imola a dream? More like a nightmare
A1 Ring? Yeah maybe, that would be nice
Mexico? Only if it's not Puebla

Ferrari has said that Alonso & Massa aren't allowed to talk to the media for the rest of the test...

I just don't think it'll be that bad. Remember, the F150 was a truck at Barcelona as Alonso was lapped & Massa was passed by everyone until his gearbox gave up. Then two weeks later Alonso almost won in Monaco.

So the F2012 will be up there, even if they struggle at the start of the season. It's just odd for them to stop Alonso & Massa from conducting press duties.

It's not that odd, both drivers have been very forthright about the car's development over the tests so far and Ferrari are clearly very scared that one or both of them will say something along the lines of 'it's fucked, we're looking at 8th at best in Australia'.

They are currently slower than the Sauber on long runs.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

They have a very small operating window in which the car performs strongly. I wonder if they've focused too much on getting the tyres up to speed quickly for qualifying purposes, but gone too far the other way...

I think it has something to do with the rumours about Massa being fired. I can imagine that Ferrari then thinks "fine, if you make things like that up, no need to bother anymore then"

Right, testing over. Many questions. Ferrari ruled out fighting for the podium early on in the season, midfield looks very tight.

Meanwhile, Pic will make his debut on a dusty street circuit in an untested car. Good luck.

Twitter sacked Massa much like it tends to kill people off.

I quite like the start of the Autosport blog to sum up testing

Could be a 2010 season where the Red Bull was also the quickest car but was very unreliable. But McLaren looks strong now.

Mika Salo has been hired by Ferrari as a test driver. He will do a two day test session at Suzuka on next week with the F2012.
