It's well known that they needed money although they deny it, i'm not surprised and i think Senna will do ok. I was watching him in Montreal in 2010 in that first HRT car and he looked alot more steady than Karun at every corner of the track we went to.

Who cares if hes bringing money... Almost if not all new drivers these days have to no matter how good you are, unless your a team backed driver like Red Bull or something like that. Bruno has talent no doubt he was very impressive until turn 1 in Spa but that was a natural mistake. I'm almost certain he will keep challenging if not start beating Petrov most of the time for the rest of the season too. But anyway we'll see how he goes at Monza.

With regards to Imola getting Grade 1. Well, I'd rather European tracks than shitty new circuits. Spielberg, Imola, many more

Also, now we know where Bernie's cash goes

One question that made me giggle on Autosport Q&A with Bruno Senna.

Q. Is it going to be like driving a totally different car with the very low downforce here?

BS: The car I drove last year had very low downforce everywhere so it should be fine!

As they will work closer together I wouldn't be suprised to hear that they'll drop Lada Lotus (with Malaysian taxmoney) Renault owned by Genii powered by Renault within the next few weeks,

James Allen has pointed out something that the Autosport article has not picked up on or has ignored; that Kubica does not have a contract for 2012 at this point and Morelli is placing blind faith in Renault to pick him up if they discover he is fit enough.

trouble for India?

Quote:
The Indian GP could be under threat because of a dispute between the F1 teams and the country’s tax authorities.

The Indian government is claiming what it believes to be its share of the annual incomes of the 12 teams, and directors of teams could apparently be held personally responsible for ensuring that the requested taxes are paid.

Driver earnings are also involved in the saga, and while they face issues in a number of countries, the teams as such are not usually involved in tax situations.

“It’s a serious issue and it needs to be resolved,” FOTA’s Martin Whitmarsh told this blog today. “And the teams need to receive the appropriate reassurance to be able to go to India.

“There is a significant worry and concern among the teams, and it needs to be resolved. I am sure it will be, but if it weren’t to be resolved then it would threaten the race, wouldn’t it?

“It’s an issue of withholding tax. It’s not an unfamiliar one. There are tax treaties between countries and it’s an extraordinarily complex matter. All of the financial directors within FOTA are working together and are very concerned about it. We’ve employed Ernst and Young as consultants to help find a solution, and hopefully we will.”

I'm not a fan of that decision.
