Just saw the race. Interesting, by F1 standards.

Yeah but he was in a brilliant position before he dropped back anyway.

Probably Alonso for me. Difficult one though.

I like that Webber got 8 votes for fucking up qualifying and finishing 30 seconds behind his team mate who got 2 votes. The power of fanbois!

Webber drove a good race, passed people on the track and finished higher than where he started. He was not THE best driver last weekend but it is smart driving like this that will win him the championship. And I aint no fanboy!

6. Some excitement, but the boring parts were too long. Not a bad race though.

it was an interesting race, even though during some parts nothing much was happening, it kept me interested for the majority of the race.

Rubens is only 7 points behind Schumacher in the standings now. How great would it be for Rubens to finish ahead of him

Another thing I just thought of - Hamilton retired pretty soon after the contact and the car didn't look that damaged. Was it broken rear suspension?

Answered my own question

Its only effectively 9 pre-2010 points with 40 available. Hardly call it massive.

if he keeps on driving that way even 20 points more than the second would have been a massive gap

Fanboi Powaaaa

But seriously, he managed to pass Schumacher and Kobayashi straight away, 2 of the craziest people to pass in the game.

Yeah after both of them made the same mistake, essentially handing the position to Webber.

Can somebody upload the picture sequence of the contact between Mark & Lewis from Hamilton's onboard cam?
Thanks.

True but he was running 6th before his puncture wasn't he? I believe he started 7th so thats just one net position gained. He drove a solid race up until that point, and then ended it in quite some entertaining fashion. But by that point, his rivals are lapping way slower on worn tires anyway. He drove a good race, just not sure its 'Driver of the Race' worthy for me. He might have my vote if it was 'Driver of the last 15 laps'.

Only three 0's? Come on surely there must be more Hamilton fanboys around than that!

Shows Hamilton fanboys are more mature compared to fanboys from other drivers ;) .

I watched the Speed channel feed here but is it true that Webber outright admitted on the BBC after the race, that it was his fault for shunting Hamilton?

I would also say Alonso.

He extracted much more from the car than Felipe Massa. It looks like the RedBull was the fastest car, but still Alonso managed to snatch the pole and subsequent victory. Great achievement, and without any mistakes! Rosberg was close. He also outpaced his teammate quite dramatically and was even able to push Button.

Kubica drove a solid race, but the fact that he overtook so many people in the final stages was purely due to the fact that he had new tires. So good, but not really special when you ask me.
