Which brings forward the prospect of all 22 drivers that start in Abu Dhabi driving for the same team in Bahrain the following March.
22 drivers? You´re counting team Apex?

Only one difference with the drivers that started this years Bahrain.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

According to autosport McLaren might team up with Toyota. Now that came out of nowhere.

Explains the Hirakawa signing a bit better.

Why would McLaren put themselves through that again?

Indeed. Just when they're starting to fight for wins, they want to become a testing platform for Toyota? Unless, of course, Toyota pays 1 billion dollars to compensate lost championship money for the next 5 years.

perhaps they're losing the bandwagon because all the other teams are teamed up with manufacturers or in ways to become one

and Toyota is again looking for that F1 dream, given that their main opponents VAG and Honda are also in the works

dunno why don't they wait for another big dropout of manufacturers to step in and win cheapily like they've done in WEC

So Rodin just make track day cars that you have to go all the way to NZ to drive? I thought they were an up and coming road car maker. And if that facility in the video was the one that they were touting as being F1 capable then yeah, the owner was right, they never ever stood a chance. Good for marketing though, which is what that ever was. Track looks absolutely stunning though. And big props to that comically small gravel run off.

They have a facility in Silverstone too I believe, so they're expanding

Just found out Bottas will be participating in a gravel bike race in Belgium tomorrow, not far from where I live. Cool that his team allows him to enter other forms of competition.

Seb was just a better driver. BUT he was given more tools to help him.

Revelation I've never heard is him claiming they turned his engine down when he got too close to Seb.

But Mark has gone full boomer recently, so not sure if I believe it

His partner won the race for women by the way.

I'd believe it

But then I'd doubt it was the only team it was happening in either (Fernando is faster than YOU!)

No wonder he snapped in Brazil, leading to Vettel snapping back in Malaysia with Multi 21 and the team basically being fine with that

When a team has a golden child, it's really just so hard to go against that, no matter what they say publicly and even to your face.

Danny found the same thing with Max too, it's just how some teams work.

Seems like more and more it's just how Red Bull (and to a lesser extent maybe McLaren) work. One bright spot in F1 recently has been teams that traditionally had a clear #1 driver structure moving to more evenly balanced driver support and strategy. Thinking of Mercedes and Ferrari in particular. Nowadays it seems like the exception rather than the rule.

Best way to win championships I guess. Sucks for us as spectators though

Andretti has had their entry approved by the FIA, now they can talk to F1 to confirm it.

Now FOM has to approve it. Basically this is just the FIA removing themselves from an upcoming lawsuit. FOM and the other teams will reject them. Andretti sues and since the FIA approved them, they cant be sued as well.
