Anyone know why there's a slightly tighter version of T10/11? Always wondered what the point in that is.

I think it's for the bikes, they intended for WSBK & MotoGP to have events there.

Webber forgetting that tracks have limits.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Whiting: "Yep, the drivers agree that you don't gain any time doing that."

What a load of shit.

He's better off in third for the start anyway, and wouldn't get anywhere near Vettel for pole so better off staying quiet.

Agreed, when they pull of an amazing overtake and are 1 centimeter outside the line they get penalized.

It's the fault of the circuit, not the drivers. If they're told they're allowed to do it, they will. I penned this back after Hungary and it seems relevant now

Despite the fact it's a crappy circuit, I really cant wait to see what the support series can do on this track.

Some well-known drivers from European Series are racing this weekend

Ted Kravits said that Pirelli have asked the teams starting of soft's not to try & do the rest of the race on 1 set of medium tyres.

I like the track, but the racing and everything else about it have always left me cold. The back section of the circuit in particular (and the first section is made better with the elevation, if it were flat it would be a Bahrain) is great to watch the cars and drivers through, and I imagine it must be fun to drive, lots of high-speed direction changes. It shows the harmony between Vettel and the Red Bull every time, that car is the business in these sorts of corners, and Vettel's skill and confidence in his machine are unmatched at the moment by any other combination. He reminds me more and more of a Prost type driver in the strategic, calculated way he wins races - securing the advantage of pole position, leading the first lap and controlling it from there. Very rarely makes a mistake, doesn't push to the limit unless he has to. Like Prost, who didn't have the demonstrable bravado and obvious daring of Senna, it's easy to forget he's bloody quick too - almost so quick he doesn't need to look it.

Agree on Vettel, but at times he shows the daring character Senna had when he goes through the field.

He's UNSTOPPABLE :p
