Monza 1971 was probably the perfect Formula 1 race.

But by the races that I've actually seen live or extended coverage of, I'm thinking Silverstone 1987, Spa 2004, Suzuka 2005.

Monza 1967 is one of the less well known great finishes as well. How Brabham doesn't wreck into the Parabolica is beyond me!

And of course 1969 with Murray commentating

Thanks for the 71 video Joey. I hadn't seen that angle of the finish before!

Watch this. I remember reading somewhere that there was something in the vicinity of 40 lead changes at the line during this race. This is how a Monza race should be, imo.

The slipstreaming action looks like a superbike race. With F1 cars.

Best pass - Michael
Best driver overall - Webber

Hopefully Michael develops with the next races as he has already shown some great improvement at Spain and Monaco.
