Thats pretty common for a normal S5000 race sadly. Trans Am field seemed smaller, and the TCR Australia field really fell off too. Touring Car Masters was pretty bad too.

So, is there any way to watch this if you can't catch it live? You can't re-watch the stream on the Speed Series site and Motorsport.TV don't appear to be covering it anymore.

I think S5000 and Trans Am are probably down to it being in Tasmania. TCR having only 13 cars is a bit concerning, last year they had 20 entered for the Tasmania round and they've never had less then 17 iirc. I think there was another 3 cars announced pre-season for TCR that didn't show up so hopefully they'll turn up later in the year. The TCM cars are running at Newcastle in two weeks so that might be why they only had 9.

Doesn't look like it. I'd keep an eye on the YT channel, maybe they'll upload races there later next week.

i'm able to capture the stream using youtube-dl and the m3u8 link, which I get from chrome network browser

this link should work in VLC too,
