Nissan has pulled out of the DeltaWing project, but pulling out does not guarantee an avoided pregnancy.

I'm OPENLY hoping LMP1 . But I expect a GTE announcment tbh.

Gotta love those Japanese manufacturers. When one leaves a series the other one leaves too. When one enters a series you can just wait till the other announces he will enter too.

I hope it's GTE, unless Nissan will use rebadged Renault F1 engines with KERS, they really don't need to be in LMP1. Nissan/Renault aren't particularly into spending big bucks like Audi and Toyota and they've seen Peugeot do it and how they couldn't sustain it. LMP1 doesn't seem like Ghosn's cup of tea, and Nismo getting back into big time Endurance GT with a GTR or even a Z makes more sense.


Really, I'd like to see them announce GTE, GT3, and GT4 cars, and partnerships with more teams. And a new S-chassis. But that's just my fantasy.

Certainly looks like a GT car, but at the same time it looks too extreme for one, just look at those wheel archs, wouldn't be a Daytona prototype would it?
