I do have an idea of what I'm talking about. Rainer Braun - never liked him anyway - completely misjudged a lot of situations during race 1 (haven't seen race 2) and his commentary is just filled with all those wannabe jokes and lines. Annoying.
But he's probably the right man for this series as I don't take GT Masters that serious.

Come on guys, be fair with Rainer Braun. He's a legend and he did brilliant commentary on 3sat with the old DTM, but he's old so he does a lot of mistakes especially with the sons of the german legends like Sebastian Asch and Luca Ludwig - he used to call them Roland and Klaus for more than 10 years!

And Kabel 1 is totally new to this stuff, so they struggled to find a decent commentator and all the good ones already have contracts and were probably not available!

In the end he's 100 times better than the ARD guy at DTM!!!

and his voice is legendary, for me it's very emotional to hear him talk again

Rainer Braun is in business for more than 40 years and he knows nearly everybody involved in german / european motorsport, so no wonder he mixes up names sometimes. He can´t even remeber my name, although we know each other for 4 years now.

Kabel 1 is just the broadcaster. The producer is WIGE, and they are NOT new to motorsport I think.

Claus Lufen is an amateur tennis-player with grades as a sports teacher and german studies... so what do you expect? Most of the people here are better commetators than him.
