Its great to see a brand new circuit come to the V8 series and it will be a great weekend. Tough to predict a winner here but it should be against the pattern of this year. 3 main passing places on this track should make for an exiciting race with the sprint tyres in play. |

There are no sprint tyres this weekend as it's a 2x200km format. Also, for garbo to edit if he doesn't know about it already, Mark McNally will replace Dale Wood in the #16 car for the remainder of the season. Dunno how much better McNally will be, but he can't be any worse than Wood. |

As long as Slade is willing to stop on the track with ten laps to go, then take off again just as the safety cars is deployed (allowing Ingall to queue up with the softs and charge to the top ten as we saw at Darwin ), I think he'll be safe. Nothing to brag about but has anyone noticed how Dean Fiore is getting closer and closer to the other runners? He's doing a good job lately. Still bringing up the rear of course but I say that because I don't think anything is expected of he or the team and here soon he might be beating a few established drivers in much larger teams. I poked fun at him for being a second off of anyone else in qualifying at Adelaide and he was a few tenths from 20th in qualy at Darwin. |

McNally slower than Wood would likely have been. After 68 laps his fastest time is a 1:15.6918, a time which would have had him 4th in Fujitsu Practice 1, and 8th in Fujitsu Practice 2. Kinda helps that he's gone away from the clusterfuck of a "team" that was Team Kiwi. Also, Marcus Marshall has withdrawn from this weekend. Don't know the exact reason why, but there's photos on inetpics.com showing the team unloading an unsponsored Ford yesterday (Sherrin Rentals, who were going to buy the team, backed out) and then packing up and heading home on the same day to avoid copping a hefty fine for a non-appearance. |

Are there any photos of the circuit because there was no TV broadcast on either Fox or Seven. |

More breakdowns than crashs I think Wincup was extremely lucky to get away with tapping Perkins - he definately made a mistake there. Also 7 wins from 11 races, it could be over by mid season at this rate |

Well if you were after crashes, you would have been happy with the start of the Mini Series race that is being shown. Two cars in seperate incidents crashed at the first corner on the opening lap. The 2nd hit was front on, and probably not far off the severity of the Mini crash at Bathurst last year that broke the driver's ankle. |
