Just read that there was a big crash during the Suzuki Swift race.
Driver was Maaike de Wit and reports say she had collapsed behind the steering wheel and then crashed.

Been there today. Holy shit what a terrible weather, that was just one big cloud of fog, surprised they even raced in that. GT4's were fucking awesome, while that Diesel Cup race was just plain terrible. Worst race I ever witnessed at a racetrack.

Less interest in these races this year than last year unfortunately. I couldn't follow the races because I was not at home.

I just read that she collapsed when she came out of the car, but they took that part out of the video on cpz.nl :(

Agreed, the weather was terrible. ''Sea mist'' once again, just like last week during the DNRT races, i hate this fog kinda thing. I also really enjoyed the Suzuki Swift races today, it was not my favorite driver who won but the racing was awesome.

And i nearly got killed by a tyre  lol

And ''Fruitcake'': I did not catch Maaikes crash as she crashed on the main straight and i was on the back of the track xD But i do know she is okay.
Im more worried about Marcel Duits as he had quite a big crash on top of Scheivlak in the first Clio Cup race...

yeah, the first one was quite strange, even happened on the Warm-Up Lap, took them quite some time to get her out of the car. Someone in the Clio field also spun on the Warm-Up Lap, I think it was the #30.

Heard about that big Clip crash, what really happened there? Sounded quite big judging by the track commentators reaction.

And for those who didnt see how foggy is really was...

Next time notify us when you're going Mattzel, if you'd like a meeting there. I'm planning several visits there myself.

Magny-Cours 2008 was even worst than that. I still don't understand how the FFSA GT drivers qualifyed in these condition, it was already hell for me to drive from home to the circuit in that fog but racing... 8O
