First DTM race I've watched in years, seems to be a pretty good one!

DTM: making even wet races dull.

Though saying that, more rain? :?

Extremely dull. Shame there is no motogp today, usually starts just in time to wake me up when I'm starting to fall asleep during the dtm race

Really uneventful race. And the commentator makes me want to sleep.

Not the usual Norisring, sadly.

The Ginetta race is far more exciting.

If Norisring is bad, what hope is there?

If a wet/dry Norisring is bad, there is NO hope.

Last exciting season of dtm was 10 years ago I just realised. 10 years of sucking since then.

I feel bad for cursing the race with my post, when I posted there was lots of action happening! If it had stayed wet would have been a better race I think

Yeah I also expected a lot more from this: rain + Norisring...but in the end this race as boring as hell.

All those nice things I've said about DTM the last few months: I take those things back.

This race reminded of everything that is wrong with DTM, nay, everything that is wrong with modern motorsport.

Bullshit penalties (let's penalise someone who happens to be on a slow-down lap, yes!)
Penalties that doesn't fit the crime (let's penalise someone who blatantly and idiotically wrecked someone elses race with a miniscule penalty that doesn't worsen his position, and then penalise someone who didn't yield to blue flags fast enough with a drive-through, yes!)
Bullshit rules (let's blue flag drivers that are on the lead lap, yes!)
More bullshit rules (let's don't allow them to use the softer tyres for more than half the distance, yes!)
Bullshit TV graphics (let's tell everyone about blue flags, yes! (which is bullshit to start with))
Bullshit driving standards (Vitaly Petrov, yes!)
Bullshit gimmicks (DRS, yes!)
Bullshit governing of said gimmicks (let's don't let them race, yes!)
Bullshit safety car start (let's Nanny State the whole fucking thing, yes!)

I'm out.
