The entry list for this year's 12 hour is out, with 28 cars on it. There's 22 GT3s (with 8 each in the Pro and Pro-am classes) and 6 invitational cars. It's not quite back to where it was in 2020 but it's a big improvement over last year and it should be a pretty competitive race. https://www.speedcafe.com/2023/01/11/two-tripleeight-cars-on-2023-bathurst-12-hour-entry-list/ |

Red Bull are bringing the RB7 there for demo laps as well - Liam Lawson will be driving it there. |

Not much support action will be streamed apparently if these scheduled streams are correct, only the races that are between qualifying and superpole on Saturday. https://www.bathurst12hour.com.au/schedule/ Race in two parts: |

And there is only two support categories which is a bit underwhelming, although they both have over 50 entries if I've counted correctly. https://www.bathurst12hour.com.au/support-categories/ It looks like there was two withdrawals, one of the Silver class Audis and the Porsche Cup car so it'll be 26 cars starting the 12 Hour if there isn't any cars taken out in incidents during practice/qualy. |

Oh well, nothing else to watch in Feb eh, though the New Zealand Grand Prix seems a bigger draw this weekend tbh |

^^ Agreed. Will still watch because it's going to be about -25*F with the wind here Saturday, but it is underwhelming. |

There was a huge crash in final practice today, Keith Kassulke in the newer MARC car had a brake (?) failure going into the Chase and the car went airborne over a curb and into a tyre wall at the end of the sandtrap. He was not seriously injured. Two stationary cameras caught the start of the accident but not the actual impact. There was also a car change today as the KTM blew its engine and they switched to a spare Audi GT3 car for the rest of the weekend. |

One of its other drivers confirmed they're out for the weekend on his FB page. |

Quote: In response to that, a spectator rushed to the scene, climbing a fence before entering the race track and tending to Kassulke. An ambulance was quickly scrambled to the scene by Race Control. The medical crew arrived while the spectator was still at the scene with rescue crews already on site. “Motorsport Australia is aware of, and is looking into the circumstances of how and why a spectator entered a live circuit following an on-track incident,” read a Motorsport Australia statement issued to Speedcafe.com. https://www.speedcafe.com/2023/02/03/sp ... rst-crash/ |

So far only onboards, stationary trackside cameras and no screen graphics. |
