End of a difficult 24 Hours race, most likely one of the more amateur drivers, probably in contact with his team watching the pitwall, not really expecting a Porsche on the line

Actually, looking at those pictures - what exactly was the Clio driver looking at at that point? :?

It'll be the pit wall. Excited rookie at the end of a race, probably not knowing if he had another lap to go or not.

Most likely wondering if he still had to do another lap or not, maybe no radio communication (it's just a Clio) and having to rely on the pitwall + being very tired. I'm sure there is a real good explanation, even the most retarded driver doesn't "just" run straight into a car.

Not to mention the fact that slowing down, then stopping, then moving, then stopping again, isn't exactly something you should do at the finish line.
