All cars will fitted with the "Lumirank" system, which is a LED panel on the front window indicating the position of each car in the race.

Attendees of the Total 24 Hours of Spa will be able to witness a fascinating challenge between a Marc VDS Racing Car and the Moto 2 bike of Scott Redding, the youngest motorcycle GP winner in history and a leading contender for the Moto2 World Championship title.

So, when will that take place?

I've asked, will post when I know more. I would guess somewhere before the race, but I have no idea what car they would use in that case :p

David Addison will be commentating on Motors TV as well as the web feed, while Radio Le Mans will have a UK-based commentary team, including John Hindhaugh, Paul Truswell, Martin Haven and guests. Too bad the TV feed will not be using their commentary but at least RLM will be the only ones providing the full 24-hour coverage of the event.

Will there be a spotter's guide? I always like to have a look at all the cars and liveries

Haven't seen one from the DSC-gang, but my colleagues from autosport.be have something close to it:

I'm planning to be at La Source at around 11:30 on Saturday; taking a train and a bus from Brussels. Until I figure out my plan of what to do after that, I'll hang around that general area with my Norwegian flag and green shorts if anybody wants to try to find me :p

Tip to the people who are going and have paddock access: pitstall 25 (F1 pits) has no team in it because Endurance-Info.com has claimed it and made it open to all public. So if you want to see close-up pitlane action without actually being inside the pitlane, this is the spot to do it. You're right between the Marc VDS and TDS BMW teams.

Fredy Barth met the Dark Side of Eau Rouge tonight. Before anyone laughs at the fact it's Barth, I saw the accident happening and I very much doubt it was driver error. The car veered left abruptly when hitting the first kerb of Eau Rouge and then went head-on into the tyres.

(crappy mobile phone pic, still turned out well enough)

And a flip in the f3 race too!

Is that even being filmed?

11 cars and they still manage to flip it?

The fight continued into Eau Rouge, where Latifi clipped Mardenborough. The Welshman was tipped upside down while the Canadian slammed into the barriers.

Sounds big
