Correct Speed will not broadcast the entire race. they usally do the first couple of hours and then do the last four or five.

You make no sense to me. Seriously...

Why the fuck would they show the race on a delay? It's a ten fucking hour race.

Because The Pinks Episode being re-shown for the 137th time this year is more important.

he might have a point. their coverage begins at 11 AM and ends at 11 PM, with 5 1/2 hours of NASCAR in the middle. Road Atlanta's site has the race starting at 11:15 AM, which would put the finish at 9:15 PM. somehow i doubt Speed will have almost 2 hours of postrace coverage...

According to the event's schedule on Road Atlanta's website, it's 1,000 miles or 10 hours maximum. Speed probably isn't broadcasting the whole race.

That's what I meant :)

I just remembered last year the 2nd part was delayed too. So that definitely explains the 2 hours after the race when it should be already over... well that makes the situation a little better.

Too bad pretty hard to avoid clashes with Nascar because of their pretty tight calendar.

BTW: Speed has a preview show Thursday 2th October, 7:00PM ET. According to the schedule there's 3 hours slot for it. That's a bit odd since qualifying is on Friday. Probably a mistake.

Forgot to mention before I went away for the weekend - Zytek have been bought out by LNT and the protos will be rebranded as Ginetta. That's why LNT are entering PLM with them

Some news concering the R8 GT3

From what I've heard Phoenix has got involved in the project

Schedule for next year:
- 3 races Belgian GT (woo!)
- 3 races ADAC GT
- 3 races British GT
- maybe 3 races FFSA GT

all with 2 or 3 cars... I hope this is true, that would be truly fantastic :D And note that all championships are run by SRO

With the fact that they've now received (and raced) their second chassis, I wouldn't be surprised if we see Charouz show up with two cars next season... They've shown their main car with Muecke/Charouz/Enge can be bloody quick, perhaps the data from the second car can get them even further - we shall see... Something to watch, especially with the diesel/petrol balancing.

Not necessarily... These things happen sometimes, and I can't say I blame them for not wanting to risk both chassis.

Also, the ECO Radical SR10 has withdrawn from Petit Le Mans, yet again. It's withdrawn from every single race it's entered since Sebring earlier this year.

After Team Essex closing down (altho they don't officially say it's due to the economical fatalz, I don't believe them), Rollcentre being in big trouble with Deutsche Bank, we also lose Embassy Racing now. The team closes down because it can't cope with the financial meltdown anymore. And so we lose another 2 cars...

Wow, hadn't realised any of them had gone. I guess small teams or those in small series are really going to be hit now
