What is it with this series and being absolutely terribly run during the 1st race of their weekend

First a SC that never ended for rain that came about 20 mins after the SC came out in Imola

Then a Red Flag for....maybe it might be dangerous in the pits, maybe not, in Spa....

Jesus Christ If i was running in this series I'd be asking for serious discounts on my entry fees...

To be fair the wind conditions at Imola were bad and you do have to think about the safety of the marshals in such conditions.

It was definitely the right call with the chaos in the pits but it could have been easily restarted once it was all sorted out. That's the part I don't understand. They weren't in danger of over-running into the main event so I can only say laziness in not wanting to sort out positions?
