My favorite oval from the short ones.

Proper oval racing, including lifting off the throttle and an outside line you have to work for but still possible to pass.

Good tast track, should've been there 2 weeks ago... ;)

The Mile a bit late to the show, but better late then never.

They should make this the race after Indianapolis, for the sake of tradition

I thought Eddie Gossage kicked up a stink about always wanting the 1st race after Indy so I was surprised to see them head to Detroit first.

But yeah, totally should be Milwaukee first.

And then Detroit, Portland, Cleveland, Toronto, Michigan, Mid-Ohio, Road America, Nazareth, Vancouver, and Laguna Seca.

:)

No love for Denver?

I loved that mile wide turn tbh, one of the underrated street tracks.

Nazareth needs a shitload of work done to it :(

Someone sell that sucker to Mikey. He will fix it.

Nazareth would be a cool track

Gateway would be cool too, didn't it get re-opened? :?

Yes it did. There was supposed to be an NHRA event there last year and a USAC Silver Crown event on the first of this month, according to Wiki.

Gateway is a unique track, a flat Darlington. Whether the crowd would come is a matter of debate.

Denver (Pepsi Center) is my favorite street circuit in the US actually. It's such a shame they don't run there. Wonder why they didn't run there in 2007? Lots of entertainment in the 2006 race thanks to PT and Le Chump.

The Civic Center (1990-1991) layout is odd.

From my hazy champcar memory (yeah...I don't remember EVERYTHING :p ) it was just a temporary situation and it was coming back in 2008.

One of the lost gems of the civil war I guess, along with Cleveland, Laguna and Road America
(And I'm still hoping they'll get back to the last 2 one of these days....)
