Proper oval racing, including lifting off the throttle and an outside line you have to work for but still possible to pass. Good tast track, should've been there 2 weeks ago... |

The Mile a bit late to the show, but better late then never. |

They should make this the race after Indianapolis, for the sake of tradition |

I loved that mile wide turn tbh, one of the underrated street tracks. |

Gateway would be cool too, didn't it get re-opened? |

Yes it did. There was supposed to be an NHRA event there last year and a USAC Silver Crown event on the first of this month, according to Wiki. |

Gateway is a unique track, a flat Darlington. Whether the crowd would come is a matter of debate. |

Wonder why they didn't run there in 2007? Lots of entertainment in the 2006 race thanks to PT and Le Chump. The Civic Center (1990-1991) layout is odd. |

From my hazy champcar memory (yeah...I don't remember EVERYTHING ) it was just a temporary situation and it was coming back in 2008. One of the lost gems of the civil war I guess, along with Cleveland, Laguna and Road America (And I'm still hoping they'll get back to the last 2 one of these days....) |
